The Virtuous Woman

Every woman has a burning desire to be the best that she can be. To this end, we are pushed to take up many careers or sign up for continuing education. We want to grow for the better. I believe that being a virtuous woman isn’t about being perfect. It’s about living a life with purpose. Proverbs 31 has so much to define who a virtuous woman is.

The Bible in Proverbs 31 describes a virtuous woman as the one who leads her home with integrity, discipline, and more. All the virtues she is practicing are aimed at making the life of her husband better, teaching her children and serving God.

A virtuous woman shows respect for her husband. She tries to make her husband’s life as good as possible. She can be trusted and has respect for elders. Her husband is fully confident in her, and she inspires confidence in her husband. A virtuous woman is not annoying, impatient, or unpredictable. She will never deliberately let her husband down.

A Virtuous Woman is a homemaker. She creates an inviting atmosphere of warmth and love for her family and guests. She uses hospitality to minister to those around her.

A virtuous woman is described in seven ways as follows:

  • Her Husband
  • Her Home
  • Her Compassion
  • Her talk
  • Her Beauty
  • Her Management
  • Her Crown
Please follow up on this blog as we will continue on this topic to talk more on the description of a virtuous woman based on these seven ways.
